I believe it comes with a making of video, fold-out tech tree, unique scenario, possibly Master of Orion 2. Anything else?

I already have MOO2 and the 'making of' video (pre-ordered).

My X-mas cookies will be cosy in that tin, though!

Limited Editions are a nice way to sell more games by making people feel special about something that really isn't.

Is it 100% guaranteed that there will be no tin-settler in the LE?

WHAT??? I missed that!

I thought not having a tech tree in the normal edition was a stretch (I find the tech tree more useful than the Civilopedia). But a game without a manual!?!

One of the best things there was about opening up civ2 was the nice, thick, juicy manual...I know, I'm weird that way..

Forget multiplayer etc. We demand a manual!

I just want to play the game.

I preordered from best buy so I already have the making of video.

I usually keep the boxes of games. That tin wouldn't fit in my bookshelf.

The Fold Out tech poster should be included with the regular game. Why wouldn't it?

Designer notes? I've read enouph on the making of the game. I don't need more. I just want to play the game.

The cash I could use to get a Collector's Edition would be put to better use when the "Multiplayer" version comes out. (If it isn't in the game)

No manual? I find that hard to believe.

In game stuff and txt files are weak subsitutes.

The Civ2 manual ruled. Seeing I already preordered the non-LE, I'm cool with it. I assume that will make me buy a strategy guide, but ah well It's Civ!

dont you get it!?! the pre-order video has got to be different from the real making-of video, because they keep talking about how it WILL do this and WILL do that. the pre-order video is a hype video made for the pre-order box specifically. The making of civ3 video will actually be abuot the making of civ3, not a hype about how great it will be, it will also be high-res, full-screen, and LONGER

The pre order video and the Special Edition Making of video are one and the same.

Why would they make two seperate masters?

It wouldn't make any sence.

what they should include in the Limited Edition is a little plastic crown so you can wear it on your head when you play

So what you are saying is that the two vids will be different?

I think the videos should be different. Also, the manuals for both CivI and CivII were fantastic! I want a CivIII manual! The tech-tree poster has been included with everything, CivI + II, SMAC etc, so I fail to understand why that has changed.

Then of course, there's the extra stuff we should have with the LE, Strategy Guide, Sid Meier's autoboigraphy, cotton World Map, tin-settler...
