So apparently the Iroquois represent all northern Native Americans, hence the use of the mounted warrior...

I'm not sure I like the unit: the Iroquois should have an Iroquois specific unit. Otherwise we can be left to assume that the Zulus are representative of every sub-saharan african culture? Or the Russians of every eastern European culture?

I suggest using the Brave as the Iroquois unit. It's inclusive to the Iroquois, but can be applied for other Native American tribes as well. Maybe a 2/1/1 unit with stealth or something.

Ummm, Horses are not native to North America so how would the Iroqious build their special unit on an Earth map?

Pathetic
The Iroquois special unit is one they did not historically have.

My best guess is they'll have to make the World Map inaccurate.

And could YOU come up with a better idea for an Iroquois special unit?

Does anyone else find it really weird that the UU is a unit that the Iroquois DIDN'T EVEN USE! What's up with that? It's like saying that the Legion should be the Greek unit because they were neighboring cultures. Couldn't the Iroquois have a scout of some sort instead? A warrior with increased movement? But many people don't care so much about historical accuracy....

Pretty simple:
Mouted Warrior is most famous Northen Native American Uint
Most powerfull Northen Native American tribe was Iroquois (in fact is was huge alliance).

It is simialr problem as with Chinese Rider.
Monagol Cavarly is famous, there are no Mongols -->give rider to Chinese.
