Historical Climatology
Anybody know any sources, esp. in regard to the Indus Valley? I know it is conjectured that the early Harrappa-Mohenjo Daro culture disappeared because of a drying of the climate. By the time Alexander took his tour there were still no major settlements in the lower Indus Valley, an area which is quite fertile today. I want to put a few insignificant settlements there but they're going to grow like weeds if they're surrounded by grassland; and, yes, I am going to at least double the size of the food box to stunt growth.
