Can I force the AI to plunder?
The AI loves to plunder, this I noticed. But is there a special unit that plunders almost anytime (I think the partisan slot)?

The case is, that I would like to have the Arab revolt in WW1 to follow the actions they did in reality, destroying the turkish railroads between Medina and Syria.

Can I create a special unit that preferably plunders?

Through abit of research, it seems the AI plunders when the unit they have has the abitity (Paratroop: move over any terrian). It can move 1 turn, it has ability to move over three spaces. It seems to be plundering with this on.

Stefan, check out techumseh's Russian Civil War scenario. That seemed to have a lot of Partisans plundering (isn't that a line in the 12 days of Christmas?).

OK, partisans seem OK. The three-movement rate is also good for Arab beduins, I guess.

Furthermore, if I think about it, perhaps special "train" units from time to time would make sense too. Has anybody seen the movie "Lawrence of Arabia"?

Units that have a move rate of 2. Such as horsemen or chariots, seem to plunder all the terrain they can get their hands on.
