For those who like to copy off other people's work for city styles...
...or just want to look at something nice:

This is not 100% accurate, but I think it still looks nice.

Thanks, Allard.
Would you mind doing the same on the SLeague forum (or just tell me the URL).

For those who don't know:
This is supposed to be a part of the Istar Gate. It's not finished, I did some further work later on. But now it looks quite good.
I'm planning to make some sort of a "Babylon picture", which is supposed to become a pixeled recreation of the great city.
I am also doing the same on Persepolis.
If I was good at drawing round objects, I'd do the Shah-mosque of Esfahan too, but I'll have to practice a bit first.

Stefan, You make also graphics about Persepolis? Have You any pics available that shows a reconstruction of this city (or the palace there). I have only some pics that show the ruins of Persepolis and so it was hard for me to create a Persian city style.

Yes, I have some excellent B/W reconstructions.
They make it a little hard to recognize what colours the single buildings had though. Thus, I made them brown, though that's not accurate, because they were of similar magnificence as Susa (where that famous Immortals relief comes from) or Pasargadae (just believe me here )
Do you want any pictures, and/or that new city style of mine?

Stefan, if you can send some of the pics to me, it would be nice.
I would also like to see Your city style (weil ich nach dem Ishtar-Bild ziemlich neugierig drauf bin ), but I like to create my own Persian cities.
