SoundBlaster !Live Budget fix
After installing the game and sitting back to catch the intro movie -- I got past the infocrap credits and then nothing (freeze).
Uninstalled and Reintalled the game and noticed there was a shared sound file (dll). Reset my sound options (control panel -- settings) to soundblaster live card and it works good for now.
Just thought I post incase some people started watching the intro and then nothing or back to desktop.
as far as my first impressions of opening the LE tin I can tell you this: The tech tree blows chow -- it was a screen print on heavy paper -- in fact -- I ordered the game thru Eb and it game w/ riskII (at least risk was in a reqular jewel case and not card board). All that aside -- I can attribute the crash to the sound card -- I liked what I saw and am going to look at the manual before going on.
