Okay, I'm playing my first "real" game and now that I am at work I have a question that some of you Civ nuts might be able to answer.
I have plenty of iron, but no horses on my continent (its a small continent, but surprisingly there are five civs on it, including myself). I can make lots of swordsmen (requires iron) and I'm just about to discover Chivalry (for knights), but without horses, its kind of useless. What is the next best offensive unit that I can use, without horses? What resources do I need? What advances do I need?
