Gee, I dunno, the release of Civ3 perhaps?
Since most (not all but most) of the people on this particular forum are second class citizens (i.e. not Americans) we'll have to wait at least another 2 weeks before anything can be done at all. It's not a coincidence that the Canadians were added by CivFanatics and not the Spanish or Celts or whatever
(BTW I myself probably won't spend any money on this game at all until some sort of scripting/events language is made available or until the price drops under $10 but that's a different matter altogether)
