Generic people.gif?
I'm currently working on a scenario that relies on Barbarians to represent a large part of the world during the last turn of the century, including Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Korea, and even various parts of Europe.

What I need is a people.gif set that gives no clues to either nationality, state of development, or any other factors that could disturb the suspension of disbelief when viewing one of these cities.
In essence, this would mean a row of heads, male and female, indicating happy/content/angry by facial expression alone. Same goes for the entertainer figure - the taxman and the scientist out of the Modern set already suffice. Hair color should be uniformly black or dark brown, and their skin neither too dark nor too light. Finally, the style should be compatible with the rest of the original people.gif.

So, any good artists out there willing to give it a try?

Actually, I already made an attempt myself, but I wasn't very pleased with my efforts. But hey, anybody who pulls this off will be doing the Civ community a big favor - seems like something every scenario designer could use!
