Theory of Evaluation? All cities on the same continent get a marketplace?

I noticed the same problem. One advance and not two. Perhaps this should be added to the patch list.

I got two too! I was disappointed that I wasn't allowed the choice of what techs to have.

Maybe you only got one as there was only on tech left in that 'Age' and there is bug stopping you from getting one from the next Age...

Well, that shoots my theory down!

I posted earlier that i thought i might have done something wrong when i built that wonder because i received no techs. however it was early 1700's and i had almost all techs in that field researched so i dont know if thats what caused me not to get any techs or not.
also another bug i have noticed
if u go to city screen and look at the garrison
if u upgrade any units in the garrison
then fortify them, the game locks up

I can hear Darwin shifting in his grave, as history as we know it goes down the drain.

In one game, I was at a point where I was already researching the last tech in the Industrial Era when Theory of Evolution was completed.

When the Theory of Evolution was completed (before that last tech was discovered), I got exactly zero free advances.

Perhaps you picked up the "Christian Fundamentalist" edition of the game by mistake. In that version, you have to research "Creationism" to get the tech advances.
