playing more than 8

I was playing 16 (incl me) on regent and when i had made contact with everyone, I could only access only 7 of them from the Foreign Advisor's screen. How do I reach the others?!

I believe you CTRL+Right Click on one of the Leaders in the Diplomacy screen. Choose another Leader to talk to off the popup menu.

The screen will only display 8 heads at a time. A little inconvenient but not the end of the world.
