CPU Unsupported
In taking a break from Civ 3, I decided to install SMAC on my new Pentium 4 1.7 GHz running Windows XP. It installed just fine, but when I ran it, it gave me the "CPU Not Supported" message, and wouldn't run, whether I hit "Ok" or "Cancel". Is this an XP problem, or did Firaxis stupidly put in a hardcoded check for "Pentium" and "Pentium II"?
