The City Style in Scenarios
I'm really sorry if this has been covered somewhere else (it probably has, that's why I'm apologizing in advance) but when you switch the human player, for some reason, often times it shows the Babylonian-style city. Why is that, and how to correct that if it can be corrected? I noticed that many of the CinC and FW scenarios are like this too.

Gothmog has written a program to correct this as well as to change some other settings fixed once a game was started (Barbarian activity, for instance)
http://users.stargate.net/~harden/civtweak.html

quote:

You can fix the so called bronze age city style, problem which occurs when the tribe you play uses the city graphic in the first city slot even though it is defined otherwise in the rules.txt.

One strange thing I have noticed: If you are not playing as a given civ, it seems to use the style from rules.txt, but if you are playing as that civ, it will use the city style found in the in-game tribe editor.
Try making the change there, too, and see if that helps.
