Some thoughts about combat system
The chance of spearmen defeat armors could still happen if the terrain is right, but the chance of a wooden ship returning fire back to a submarine attacking 2000 yards away is what?
It doesn't matter if the wooden ship is depth enough for torpedo to hit. How could this wooden ship return fire when it couldn't even detect the sub, and let alone sunk it at the end of the battle?
Some special rules must apply to this kind of battles. If the defense unit has no ability to attack back in the given condition, its defense rating must reduce to 1 or less, so that no more losing sub to a galley could occur.
