battle plan question
I read somewhere in the forum that taking a capitol won't result in widespread empire madness. Is that true?

The romans wiped out the japanese, and though they've been polite and decent allies throughout my game they keep sending workers and infantry through my territory (probably trying to reach their new japanese holdings) and every turn I tell them to withdraw. I'm beginning to think that sooner or later Ceasar is just gonna say "Aw f*** it" and attack me. So I've begun devising a plan to blitzkrieg through his first few border cities and take Rome. If I do that is there a possibility that his empire will split (since theres an extra spot for a civ now that Japan is gone) or suffer a period of anarchy?

Has anyone tried this?
