Gold & units
I wrote a little program that scans the civ dir for new saves every few seconds and if it finds one it copies it to another dir.
So it basicaly backs up every turn. Now what i wanted to do was have it scan the file it just backed up and extract information like how much gold does the player have.. Does anyone know how and where the gold info is stored in the saved game file? I think this would be great way of catching cheats in civ sim turns multiplayer games. Not only that it would be a great way to record the history of the game, ie if you can record everything on a graph etc.
