Remind me! (huge map)
Hi, sorry for repeating, but what was with the map size issue? I know it was discussed before: game allows up to 10 000 squares but World.MP map is 18 000.
So, why is this? And was it solved by scenario makers?

World.mp isn't 18.000 but 9.000 (120 * 75). CivilizationII doubles the horizontal coordinates. To get the correct size you should open the map in the Map Editor.

Actually, with Julius Brenzaida's No Limits Mod you can have maps up to 32768 squares.

In the Apolyton Database. For both MGE and ToT, in the Special category.
The patch allows you to create random gigamaps. You can rework them with the mapeditor of MGE.
My "no-limits add on" get rids of the population and gold limits too.
