My impression on Civ III and mod files
I just bought this game a week ago. Very enjoyable game...much harder than the first two installments(Civ, Civ II). I have already started to download mods for it mainly to improve the graphics. I have only two small gripes. Leaving out Spain(I suspect politically correct fanaticism) and the extreme corruption. Other than that I have no other complaints. The AI is fantastic. I actually feel as if I am playing against other people.

P.S. I still have the original Civ on floppies in my closet. How's that for dedication to Sid Meier.

Don't worry. That feeling will pass after about 3 games.

Hints:
1. Worker gambits
2. Gold per turn
3. Peace Treaty extortion
