Suggestions for upgrades??
Any suggestions for my big upcoming upgrade? Is there any new features or anything you would like?

Sorry, what are we supposed to be making suggestions for? Is this a website or something?

Only making suggestions because I am into website design...

Add some user friendly macromedia, shockwave, or java to your site. And I would recomend not posting until everything on your site is up and accurate. Otherwise people get discouraged from coming back. Your site has a good overall design, but I would limit it to two to three frames. People don't like frames much anymore (And they're so simple to program)

If you don't know/own any Macromedia products and you know a good deal about CPUs (which I figure you do from having a website) I would download Flash 4 or Director and try to teach yourself. They're becoming very important in websites now.

Wanna see some cool Flash projects? Go to www.balthaser.com

Good luck and keep me posted about the site!

That is the problem with many webset designs, all 'bells and whistles' and not enough emphasis on content and efficiently taking users to the desired information. I had a hand in firing webset designers because all they were interested in were the latest multimedia gimmick and hip designs. Focus on the user getting at your (or providing) information very quickly and efficiently.

S.C. - Notice my comment about getting everything working before you wish to publish a site

Bells and Whistles keep them coming back for more. As far as Civ stuff goes, how about a link here if you don't already have one
