ATTENTION: newer version of 1.16f patch relased!
Apparently, Firaxis somehow put the WRONG .exe into the patch installer. This new, correct version of the patch should solve the Win2k/XP problems.
I am assuming that you will be able to download the correct 1.16f patch from the same places, but be careful when downloading it from fansites- be sure they have the correct one!
