ending anticlimactic
This has potential to be another whiny thread, but I also offer some easy-to-implement patching solutions.

The way the game ends is really anticlimactic for cultural, spaceship, and diplomatic victory. Esp. for cultural and diplomatic, the ends wayy too suddenly.

1. For cultural, give the player the option to accept or reject the end of the game. In my last game I was so close to dominating everyone, then suddenly I reach 100,000 points and the game just cuts me off.

2. Please have a slightly more creative message other than "You haev achieved a cultural victory!" Maybe something that actually describe how everyone admires you or whatnot or how you were recognized as the legitimate ruler of the world or whatever.

3. Have some tension build up for cultural, spaceship and diplomatic when OTHER players achieve landmarks. Liek if another civ has 90,000 CPs, you should get a message like "the evil Persians' culture is close to being recognized as the only legitimate one" or something creative. The player should receive notifications when they reach landmarks, like 50,000, 75,000 and 90,000 with messages like "the world has started to take notice of our superior culture" and NOT "you have 50,000 CPs". If someone else starts building a spaceship or built the UN they should let you know.

This is incredibly easy to implement and it goes a long way. For example, I know everyone thinks the espionage stuff is cheesy but I actually think it adds something to the narrative; i'd rather see "our spy was caught and killed. Queen Elizabeth is not pleased" rather than "espionage failed".
