Gov producing workers?!?
Question: Why is my governor autobuilding workers now?

I have the gov set NOT to build ANY units, but I'm manually building modern infantry. After every MI I build, I still have to manually change the production of the city.

I have the "repeat last build" preference checked.

What gives?

Same here..... selecting DO NOT BUILD anything never works... it only reduces the likelihood of doing down byt maybe 33% less...

I think the city governor setting overrides the "build same unit" option in preferences. Try turning off the option to have city governor manage production. Then the option in main preferences to build same unit always should work. Thats what i had to do.

Besides, I never found the city governor to make decent unit build choices. Things such as trying to build longbowman in 1990. When I have 6 Mech Infantry in every city and 20 spare waiting on a war. Or better yet, building privateers when I have a 40 ship fleet of mixed destroyers/battleships/carriers.
