Anybody else encounter this?

It announces a new Resource has been discovered!

Well, in my case, a new source of Iron was found.

Problem was, it was 1800 and I had built no Swordsmen for 500 years!

Couldn't they say "we've found a new source of Oil?" I have 2 patches, but another one to trade to the Indians would work well!

Oh well, just my rant I guess

I'll get back to battling pollution now....

Yeah, in one game that happened to me twice. Aren't there modern units that need iron?

I can't remember.

factories require iron, so by association power plants do aswell( i think they dont give bonus without the factory and you cant build them anyway without it), so heavy industry requires Iron.I edited battleships,and destroyers to require it
