As I see it, it is the man who presumes insight into the minds and opinions of other men who suffers an inflated sense of self-importance.

I'll find Dan's e-mail address on my own.

Um,
It hardly takes any special insight to guess that game developers don't like rude, obsessive posters; the amazing thing is that you don't seem to understand this yourself and continue to complain when Firaxis ignores you.

Actually I think it's kinda funny. Like watching a man beat his head against the wall. Until it gets pathetic and sad.

Were spandex comprised of your ethical judgment, one could make a suit of armor from it.

You have stuffed me into a hole from which, by your rigid judgment, you will allow me no escape. People change. At least, thinking people do.

Lib, Do you realize you average just under 10 posts a day? Most on the same dead horse subject.
You count his posts?
Check in with your shrink dude -You obviously have more problems than Lib.

I can't agree that Lib's opening post in that other thread was hostile. I took it to be conciliatory. Nor can I agree that the thread was nasty. I actually think most of it was rather funny. However, I do admit that scientist's Dialogues could have doomed it to failure (that is unless Sid has a real good sense of humour).

I don't know, maybe it's just me. I'm comparing that thread to some of the flame fests I have participated in/instigated (hi Yin). So it seems positively civil.

Now, I'm not about to say that Firaxis owes any of us any statements on our terms, HOWEVER as some one involved in managing a business, I would be a fool to pass up the olive branch that Lib is proffering. You do not ignore once ardent fans who are as articulate as Lib and who seem to have some influence with others. Just my 2 cents.

If everyone took my advice (which they will not) Firaxis would make a statement to the fans about plans/intentions for civ3 while Lib (and others) would be patient for it's appearance.

Checking a poster's 'title' and in case of extreme curiosity, his/her profile, will reveal the amount of life left in that person at a glance.

I shine in cool one-liners today. =]
