movement & combat
does the length of movement before attacking affect combat outcomes like in Civ2?

If you think about that "your unit has only 1/3 movement points left. Charge anyway with lower chances of success?" then NO, that is no longer present in civ3.

that's exactly it. Thanks. I don't recall seeing any reference to it being eliminated in the manual.

I dont think there was a reference to that rule in the manual.
