Long time since civ3.com has been updated...
It has been over a month since the civ3 site has been updated!!!

Shouldn't there be new information about upcoming patches or new scenario's?

Or how about strategies or added civilizations that you could replace current ones with? With their own specialized units and everything.

Or information regarding a release of an expansion set?

FIRAXIS, WE NEED UPDATES!!!

I think they just went through the process of getting simgolf out the door and are probably taking a little breather. Possibly having to discuss with Infrogames the future of Civ3 in light of the sales to date.

I expect we will hear something in the next several weeks.

The only possible good news would be the Sid is going to get personally involved in the future of Civ3 and that the game will be reworked for an expansion. Chances are probably around 1-3% of that happening.

I am not holding my breath.

hey jimmytrick, do you still have that GREAT poem on your HD? I fell off my chair laughing, when I first read it, but can't find the thread.

That would be a function of sales. I'm sure they've sold hundreds of thousands of copies, so there is a good chance of an expansion pak.

Expansion pack, yes... but I am also not holding my breath. I do think that the exp pak will come, but the problem is: will it rework entirely the game? I don't think so.

Why should Firaxis bother?? The suckers are buying it, and the Firaxis shills are pushing it.

Next time you hear from Firaxis they will be selling a scenarios disc - for $20.95. That's why they took out scenario-building in Civ III.

I did. I've been in the hospital for the last week. I think I brained my damage.
