That's all good. I joined about three or four months after I turned 14.

Hmm, the age of SMAC-fans compared to Civ-fans? I'm an equally big fan of SMAC and Civ3, will that ruin the calculations?

Anyway, I'm 21.

Well, who am I to talk, I was about that age too when I joined, a year later then you...

It's interesting how, well, in comparison to a certain Finnish Final Fantasy board I frequent... here, almost everyone is older then me, there, almost everyone is younger then me. Gives you good scope to the fact that in your teens, a year's difference isn't always as humongous as it might seem in RL.

Some tell me that I when I was born I was already in my twenties.

16 here. I bet you will find SMAC players are smarter than Civ 3 players, in my most humble opinion

When I first came to The Ultimate Civilization 2 Site and The First Greek Civilization 2 Site, I was 13 1/2.

They merged around the time I turned 14.

Do the math, and I'm about a month away from being 18.

I'm 38 (at this age, the days don't seem to matter as much )

I used to play the Avalon Hill board game Civilization when I was a university student (the first time). So, if you count that as part of the civ franchise, I've been civing for 20 years now, and SMAC is still the best game going.

Yes it is.

I wonder what the average is?
