I'm sure you have seen this...

The new patch is just about finished. We've started
testing it today. Here are some of the new features...
- Remove 50 year limit.
- More frequent visits by I.M.Picky.
- a better system of placing landmarks. A free landmark now
appears in your landmarks menu when Ivana donates a landmark or
a happy ending occurs on your course.
- fix for save file corruption problem (thanks to Bill Harris his help)
- you can pick up a golfer and move him/her to another place on
the course, or to the clubhouse to eject him/her.
- the ability to cancel a tournament or match.
- more cash if J.P.Bigdome likes your course.
- golfer in carts do not complain about slopes.
- Gary Golf doesn't lose skills when buying new course.
- fix for the "toilet bowl" firm fairway problem.
- add Animals/No Animals to the preferences.
- you can turn off golfer comments in the preferences
- cleaned up display of stars, hearts, etc. at top left.
- Esc no longer quits game but clears messages, etc.
- Right-click clears messages, etc. before becoming an undo cursor.
- Problem with invalid course records fixed.
- Problem with your pro on bench not going to tee fixed.
- 'No Dandelion' landmarks now prevent new weeds as well as spread of weeds.
- faster scroll on members report.
- Tab key cycles through unhappy golfers.
- money cheat now indicated in your cash total.
- a couple of other cool things.
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and comments. See you at
the SimGolf chat tomorrow (Tue.) night!
- Sid

The ability to move a problem golfer looks like the major fix for most situations....as long as they dont go straight back to their golf ball and get stuck again.

This will be a very good patch. I do wish, though, that it were easier to navigate from various lists to the thing in question. For example on the list of player comments, I'd like to be able to click on the hole-specific comment and jump right to the hole. That kind of stuff. Or on the staff page, click on the job assignments and jump right to that worker. It does get tedious to find these things, especially when trees etc. can block your view.
At any rate, Sid seems quite keen on making this game the best he can, and that bodes well.

I thought there already was a hotkey for toggling off and on trees?
