Grouped Movement - Step in the Right Direction, but still doesn't work as it should..
Well I'm glad to see a form of grouped movement finally make an appearance, and while it's an improvement over none at all (except in an army which isn't much use if you've never had a leader in order to build one to create a victorious one to get the relevant small wonder to be able to build armies etc etc etc), moving all units of the same type in the square isn't the solution.

I think Firaxis are too fiaxted on the Army idea to allow proper grouped movement - i.e. a bunch of units of all different types moving together at the speed of the slowest unit.

Therefore, I still can't create a seagoing battle group of carrier, transports, subs, battleships etc, loading the carrying units with troops or aircraft and move the whole lot as one. Instead I've got to tell my carrier where to go, and every turn get the other units to move to the carriers end square... In other words, exactly what i was doing before 1.17f...

Yes, and stacked transports with units in them don't "j" either.
Once you learn its limitations (and even beforehand) that "j" key is quite useful.

You also cannot manipulate groups of workers sensibly unless they all are doing the same task that will begin and end at the same time.
