Is Firaxis Listening to us?
I know most of the stuff discussed here has been previosly but do you guys at Firaxis actually listen to us when something new comes up? Does everything need to be in a "List?"

Firaxis; Dan Mahaga e-mail, 2-3 weeks ago:

"A lot of people here regularly read the forums at Apolyton on a daily basis. We do have copies of "the list" and as you're probably aware, we often refer to it when we want to know what "the hardcore fans" want most.
...I think you'll probably see more posts regarding specific parts of the game on the forums there in the near future, so stay tuned".

At the very least, it's a great place for ideas for any of us that might go out and make our own civ game.

Even though they can not listen to or act on everything written here, if it all contributes to even a small emproovement in the game, it was worth it.

Members of Firaxis are registered here, post here, and often ask us for ideas (E.G. the top thread right now).

We recieve E-mails of thanks and praise every once in a while, and they let us know what parts of our ideas they use the most. We're sort of like their version of public testing...and we do it for free. Hopefully they get us some form of screen shot soon, which I'm anxiously awaiting
