Armies hidden in villages
Don't know if this "bug" has been reported before, but I stumbled across something rather amusing this morning.

I founded a city next to a village and got an army!

Immediately afterwards, I moved one of my warriors into another village north and got another great army!

Cool.

This is a bug with the first version of the patch released. It included an incorrect civ3mod.bic (as well as editor), but it was fixed for the second version.

Okay, the fact that there are different patches I can live with. But that the same patch has more versions is getting to be really annoying.

What exactly does the patch change? Does this mean huts have been made worthless again?

It changes back what units you can get from a hut to the same as before.

You mean one settler per game at best, and maybe a couple conscript warriors (read: cannon fodder).

Yes, but the positive side of this "bug" is that we know know how to chane what units that can appear, the downside is that there is no way to specify what chance for a unit to appear. Note that getting setllers is another event then gettinbg a unit, but if Settlers are enavbled as units you can get you might get settlers from the huts as well. So with the incorrect patch the chance of getting a setller should be bigger then the chance of getting a warrior.
