Upgrading Units
Is there a faster way to upgrade units other than clicking and upgrading them one by one? It takes forever to upgrade all my riflemen to infantry and stuff like that.

Activate a unit of the type to be upgraded. Then hit shift-U. All units of that type in cities with barracks will be upgraded.

However, I think I've had occasions where it didn't upgrade all of the units it should have.

At any rate, shift-U is what you're looking for.

Thanks, that will really help me speed up the game. I had just went through and ton of cities, each with two riflemen, upgrading them to infantry, I wish I knew that command earlier.

Well
SK138:
Only units in cites with barracks (or harbors or Airports, depending on the units type) with the resources needed to make the improved version, will upgrade immidiately, if you have enough money. All other units stay the same.
