Colonies III Pirate Mod
I've made a mod for John Ellis' Colonies III scenario in which you can take up playing the Brethren of the Coast, a large Pirate brotherhood created in the early 1600's that sprawled out across the Bahamas and Tortuga.

Basically, the mod revamps the cities pictures, flags and events so that you can play as the Pirates. It's much like playing an evil Dutch.

You can only play as the Brethren, but it's fun if you want to add a little tweak to the scenario.

NOTE: The Brethren replace the Hurons. Matter of factly, the Hurons were actually absorbed by the Iroquois by the time Europeans landed in North America.

Playtesting this I haven't found any bugs (beyond not being able to play anyone else bu the Pirates) and you CAN win the game (I increased the max turn to 241).

Do you get to use giant windmills to chop your enemies up?

This looks good, and could make for interesting PBEM games...

Tomorrow i'll sit down and steal money from the company I work for by playing Civ when I should be working and make a version that's playable for all players.

Hmmm, actually, I think this is for FW not MGE.... I'll see if I can convert it tho...
