At first put the textfile into your ..\ctp2_program\ctp\ folder. Once you are in the game open the chat screen by typing: '
And enter /importmap mapname.txt. Mapname.txt is the name of the *.txt file that you placed in the ctp2 folder. Note that the map that you want to laod must have the exact same size as the map that is currently loaded. For example if you started in the original game a gigantic map game than a map of 70X140 is loaded and you can only load text maps via the chat window of a size of 70X140. If you whish to load maps of non standart size than you have to modify the const.txt that you can find in your ..\ctp2_data\defauöt\gamedata\ folder. Open it with any text editor (e.g. notepad) and search for these lines:
MAP_SIZE_SMALL 26 52 2
MAP_SIZE_MEDIUM 48 96 2
MAP_SIZE_LARGE 64 128 2
MAP_SIZE_GIGANTIC 70 140 2
It should be obviously how to change the map size 70X140 of the gigantic map to something else.
