Are there nuclear weapons in this game?
Can you decimate enemy cities with mushroom clouds or what?

Hey Allan, you can find these things out yourself. You have now started three threads asking what a turn based strategy game looks like. They look adequate for the task at hand. Even the crappiest ones. They don't have to be pretty or stunning as the strategy is what the players are looking for.

Civ III looks vastly better than Civ II did. Just like Civ II did over the original game. And all have them have had little more than functional graphics. Its a STRATEGY game. Not a showpiece for an Nvidia 4.

However the nuclear bombs suck. Even for Civ III the graphics on that are lousy. I don't use them myself. They just mess the world up and I like the land to be worth winning.

Somehow I get the feeling you will be a warmonger and not a builder should you ever buy the game. So build the bombs and have a nuke fest. The world be covered with ugly orange scabs. The AI throws those things around too once someone starts it up.
