New Castellon Build Orders
Wow, being President is going to do wonders for my friggin post count.

OK, is there a Minister who decides build orders or what? I'm posting several screenshots concerning New Castellon.

edit: We have no embassies established, but in trying to communicate with both the Indians and the Romans, they appear to be at war with each other and both are Enraged towards us. The foreign minister will need to advise about establishing relations.

Good work, MBloomIII! Now for Kassiopeia to make the poll.
Too bad we didn't do one for the phalanx. I would have voted for an archer instead, in case the Indians make a sneak attack!

Advise from the Foreign Minister
I advise to build diplomats and sent them to the rome and india, and I would if we had to take side to take rome side on the war, as they are more powerful, but I would say that we should go to war with india and to destroy it with rome!

I don't think that the people want to engage in any useless war. We already have a fine empire to worry about.

ok maybe it's time to take a look at some other treads around here:
eg THE ONE IN WICH WE POLLED THAT ALL CABINET MEMBERS SHOULD GET THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!.
(then you don't have to post a few dozen screenshots for each city just post the game every 5 turns as decided in the beginning, let everybody do his/her pôlling work and then after the orders are in you can continue the next 5 turns)

Question of opinion;

Here is the deal. There are over 16 build options, so I have three choices; either dropping something out, combining some units/whatever, or doing several polls, one for units, one for impros, and then a poll with the best of these polls against each other. The latter one is most democratic, yet the one that takes the most time, with the new 48 hr polls. Of course, if I did the two on 24 hours, they would not take any longer time, but I would be swamped in the rants of angry citizenry.
Then again, it is only justifiable that if you want to influence, you visit the forum at least once a day.
Any suggestions?

Had that in mind, actually. This could be considered a decision of the long run, especially since I will not probably rerun for a third period of duty of MoCP.
Any other suggestions for the polls?

(Of course, polls with ~32 choices would be the best option)

My thought was to do a poll for:
Military Unit(Phalanx, Archer, etc..)
City Improvement (Temple, Marketplace, etc..)
Expansion Unit (Settler, Trireme, Explorer, Spy)
Wonder of the World

and whichever category wins, do a poll among those options.

And shade, I'll send out the save file after we take a couple of turns. I don't want all those screenshots to be for nothing.

I guess I would do as the President suggests.

I agree that would be a waste.
(btw I'm not saying you shouldn't post screanshots every time you send out the save, some basics are good to globaly inform the citizens of how things are going.specifics can then be done by the cabinetmembers when doing their poll's=> also takes away some of the pressure on you shoulders )

we can´t ask everything, make a generic poll and let the president or the minister decide

I agree with Shaka. The minister must decide what the most important options are, and poll about them. For example, don't poll all 16 options if the city is about to grow to size 3. It will either need
  1. a temple,
  2. a unit for martial law, or
  3. a settler to keep it small.
Narrow down the options, and let the public decide which of the few choices is best.

i don´t know if asking what to be built in every city is a good idea, every turn is going to take years,
and if mbloomIII has to post all those screenshots every time...

we can´t make a more generic poll
