March tourney game?
Paging MarkG, paging MarkG, your fans are awaiting a game for March. I hope everything is okay.

Ming, or anyone else in the adminstration, could you give us an idea of what is going on? Give MarkG a phone call or something, or just tell the fans that he is away and will be back on xxx, or had some family emergency, or computer failure or whatever. I know this is not on purpose.

If there is no official March tourney game, how about an unofficial one? What does everyone think of that idea and what settings for map size and difficulty level? A small map is a good idea since March is half over.

MarkG, I hope to see your pixels soon, whatever is going on.

real world map suggestion
Hello MarkG,

How are you doing?

If you'll start a next tournament perhaps you might consider these or similar settings:

real world map, standard/large

correct starting locations (I'm an amateur in these matters, can't succeed myself)

10 civs (America, Aztecs, Zulus, Egyptians, French, Russian, English, Chineze, Japanese, Babs (only Middle East power if Egypt excluded)

Who'd we start with?

don't know yet ...

Could you manage that?
Many players'd love it, I certainly will.

Imagine the tournament thread: how easily could all of us empathize to the 'real world' stories ? It could be an instant classis.

What do you think?
