I might be interested
As I am no scenario wizard, I'd happily let someone else choose one.

I'll play. How about "Rome 280bc" from the scenario league? I played it many moons ago, but remember having fun. Any other suggestions?

Anyone looked at the 'Samurai' scenario that comes with FW (CiC?) - the player starts with two little cities and a v hostile AI with most of the rest of the map ...

It has creamed me (on Deity) several times ...

Might well be interested - let the discussion continue

I've started getting into succession games more and more. I'd be interested, but sadly I just have 2.42 and some scenarios (CiC) as well as ToT, so that limits some of my play options.

The ToT AI seems to have my number on deity. However, there are some good CiC scenarios. Anyone else like the idea of 'East Wind, Rain' as the Chinese, French or even... ... the Dutch? Could be a real challenge.

I like to play one of these scenarios:

MGE:

1. Russian Civil War - Alex the Magnificent

2. Mongols - Harlan Thompson

3. Menilek II Ethiopia - Blacklove

4. Ancient Empires - Paul Cullivan

5. Lord of the Rings - Harlan Thompson

6. Seize the Crown - John Ellis

7. Fire and Roses - Stefan Härtel

TOT:

1. Seeds of Greatness - Paul Cullivan

I played Samurai last year (won in 1693,...look at my thread 'scenarios: Fantastic Worlds'). Fun start indeed.

Count me in if you decide to start it as a succession game.

(count me in if you decide to start ANY succession game )

Here's what I suggest:
Hellenistic Age as Macedonians
30 Year War as Swedes
Great Northern War as Swedes
Hundred Year War

Seize the Crown & Samurai would be ok too.

sorry I don't remember/know the makers of these scens.

Let's begin
Choose a scenario, play 20 turns and put it there on the forum.
You then will see who follows you

I agree with Julius: choose a scenario (why not 'seize the crown'?) and play 20 turns (you started the thread, why not start the game ?).
I play after you, or perhaps Marquis de Sodaq or Julius Brenzaida, since both of them seem to be ready.

ANY OTHER CIV2 LOVER IS WELCOME

Even if I'm not ued to play at Deity level I would give it a try (considering the other fellows I couldn't create big harm to the campaign... ).
Even if I don't have MGE (only 2.42 and TOT)... is there any patch or do I have to purchase MGE ?
Every scenario is good for me!
