Hey Mark, where's Tournament 7?????
Any idea when the next tournament will start. Number 6 kicked my butt within the first couple hours so I've been waiting for 7 pretty much ever since I completed 5.

Well, maybe you should ask where Markos is... He has not been active for a while.
But a new tournement is definately needed.

I figured something was up, I kept going to the tournament board to find no tournament 7 plus I noticed my tournament 5 game hadn't been downloaded yet. I hope everything is well with Markos.

perhaps one of the regular tourny players could come up with an unofficial tournament 7...

I've played a very interesting map recently with original settings, but unfortunately I have no 4000 BC save...

we could discuss what kind of map we would like to play and someone would be in charge of setting it up...

Hello MarkG,

How are you doing?

If you'll start a next tournament perhaps you might consider these or similar settings:

real world map, standard/large

correct starting locations (I'm an amateur in these matters, can't succeed myself)

10 civs (America, Aztecs, Zulus, Egyptians, French, Russian, English, Chineze, Japanese, Babs (only Middle East power if Egypt excluded) -edit: of course not true, just forgot about the Persians ...

Who'd we start with?

don't know yet ...

Could you manage that?
Many players'd love it, I certainly will.

Imagine the tournament thread: how easily could all of us empathize to the 'real world' stories ? It could be an instant classic.

What do you think?

AJ

I like this idea, it would be cool though if there was a way that we could individually pick which civ we wanted to play.

The only thing I could think of was to have 10 different save games.
