How to modify a scenario
I would like to modify the map on redfront.scn, but how can I do that so I can save the scenario again?

Ie how do I open a *.scn edit it and save it again without the scenario starting before I can edit it?

i think you start the game as the first player to go. that way, none of the pieces move before you start editing

1) Make sure there is no events.txt file in the directory.
2) Start the scenario as the first player on the list of players to select (this makes sure that the AI does not move during the turn).
3) edit away!
4) Remember to save as scenario.

You can also directly load the scenario by doing the following:

1) select 'load game' from the main screen
2) go the the Red Front sub-directory
3) in the box where the name of the sav that you want to load appears, type redfront.scn

from here you can save it as a normal game.

This will load the scenario where Captain Nemo saved it.
This method also has the advantage that the turn 1 events won't run (*I think*)

BTW, if you're planning on distributing your mod, I sugest that you get Captain Nemo's permission first
