Military Orders, 200ad
The northern trireme contains 2 caravans, spice and beads. The southern trireme contains a diplomat and a silk caravan. Roman cities demand silk; Only Babylon demands spice. Beads are demanded in India and our city of Citadel.

As your Supreme Military Commander I suggest we send the spice caravan (big payoff) to Babylon, the only city that demands spice. Where the bead caravan goes, I leave up to our Trade Advisor. The other trireme should deliver the silk to Rome (let our worthy Trade Advisor decide which city!) and take the diplomat to pop the 3+ huts south of India.

We have a trireme just offshore of America. We should either land and pillage the few improvements they have, or continue exploring to the east.

The barbarian leader near Balsindia needs a good beating. There are units aplenty nearby. I suggest one be sent from Balsindia, as the temple will not be needed there for 5 more turns - enough to either return the warrior with the barbarian leader's head or send a warrior from kIndalia to quell unrest. If anyone disagrees, then I say you are one of the barbarians! Oh, and post your dissent...

Vote for your preferences! :doitnow:

O, by the way, there are two more triremes, both empty.

One is south of India, returning home, as there is nowhere else for it to go. Nothing to poll about with that one.

The second is at the western edge of our exploration. It can either continue exploring, or return home. I will post another poll about it, as I'd already submitted this one.

I have kind of a special request for that diplo...although exploring really sounds nice I would rather see him in Citadel and do counterspionage and stuff.

and those 3 caravans should be used for trade==> science-beakers:we still need to invent monotheism and as far as I know this will not be our next tech, game won't allow it=>tell's me there are no tech leading to it

yes, trade is good. I don't think we want to start pillaging America with a lone warrior unit. It might be destroyed, and we cannot support it. I say explore, find new city sites.

OK for delivery trade caravans to foreign cities with demanded good.
But we have to rebuild caravans for Mike's !

BTW, in a post, our president asks for more trirems to ferry caravans to WoW building.
I say : no, we have enough trirems, wait for caravels before building new boats !

Totally agree with JCP.

We have enough boats for the moment. More important that they have useful cargo!

Yes, the mighty american empire! One city, probably defended by a lone phalanx that won't attack. Maybe there's a horse, maybe not. In any case, it's an option, the people can reject the idea...

In that case, Marquis, I vote for the pillaging, provided that the US only have the one city.

Otherwise, I suggest caution. The people do not want war if it means they have to get off their lazy asses and fight!

They have only one city that we can see - there may be more in the darkness beyond. In any case, it looks like they are a rather pathetic bunch.

euhm little misunderstanding:I asked for the 2 triremes to stay in the airea they are to use them for transport...otherwise we would have 5 triremes but none close enough to actually use for transport...(there is one beeing build right now and I rather would like to see it's production changed to a diplo or caravan)

about the Americans...aren't we at war with them???
(=> if our warrior sets one food ashore he most probably will get attacked(and a trireme can't take a city as we all know))

There seem to be too many unknowns concerning an attack on America. Even if they are a bit pathetic, I think sending one warrior towards them is unwise. If we want to take them out we should plan to do so.

(The caravans should be delivered as per the Trade Advisors wishes).
