How do you reload slic?

Hey, I've made a change to the PW_cheat.slc file and want to encorporate it into the game. I know that I bring up the chat box and type in a command. What, specifically, reloads the slic?

Afterwards you got the chat box just enter:

/reloadslic

If you done everything right all the old messages stored in the message box should be gone.
