"hidden" special fields
Sometimes you can see only three specials for a city, though 4 are possible. The pattern for the specials is simple, so I needn't explain.
I always improve the terrain where the fourth special should be, if it's possible.
With option 'm' I got (until now): Pheasant, Silk
Option 'o' (on grassland): Wine, Coal.
It's a pity that you can't improve sea squares ...

Yup - I oftimes forest the fourth corner - but unless I know for sure -- don't forget the clues from nearby huts -- it has to wait a while.
I must admit that for me the game is normally over before I can consider using the 'o' option ...

Well, you can't work them with engineers, true enough
But, with a harbor and an offshore platform they give you 2 foods, 1 shield and 3 trade arrows, not too bad.
