Gramphos. We need someone with experience. Since he already has two terms of experience, he got my vote.

*throws tarp over pile of cash*

Well, I would have voted for him anyway

I voted ixnay- we might as well let some new people in- even though the old people deserve spots- the new people deserve a chance.

I'll probably vote Gramphos next time however

I have the impression these ellections will be very interesting since no-one really has a huge lead.

May the best win.

8 - 8 and counting.

I suggest in case of tie in any poll, but the presidental, the presidens should get the final vote.

I'd say let the current VP cast the tiebreaking vote. Since the VP doesn't really have much in the way of duties.

In the case of a Presidential tie, perhaps it should be the current (outgoing) Prez who was final say - naming his/her successor, as it were.

As for a tie for another position, I think it should be the new Prez who has the decision - naming their cabinet.

Anyone agree?

First, I think the new President should decide a tie vote for a Minister position. That will be fair in any future elections, too.

Second, in case of a Presidential tie, the rock/scissors/paper thing will work nicely. The 2 candidates will send their choice to a 3rd party (Historian seems appropriate). The chances of a 3-way tie are too unlikely to worry about unless it actually happens.

It's nice to see some contested elections...

Coming to think of it, who was April's Science Advisor?
I think several of us never "met" him because Gramphos polled too much in advance...
Not fair to the new guy.
