Is there an opportunity for Poly (or Mark/Dan) to benefit from this XP
This thread is not entirely a troll. Please look before locking it...
Mark, Dan: I reccomend finding out what is going on with this XP and seeing how to benefit from it.
For instance:
-If we are going subscription based, could you put the server next to the Poly server in Texas? Could we become the official baorads for teh game?
-Could you guys (personally) get jobs with Firaxis and run some Firaxis boards, even if it means giving up Poly?
-other ideas (not sure here...what else is possible?)

Go ahead and lock it. This thread is turning to spam.
I actually seriously wonder if there could be a place for poly in the Firaxis distribution system. But nobody wants to have a meaningful discussion about it...

Maybe Firaxis GP. However I doubt Infogrames.
The question would be, who is going to put up/maintain Civ3's on line presence? If it's Firaxis' ball, then I could see a role for Poly and CFC, maybe.
If it's Infogrames I doubt it.
