You are correct. False premises can lead to true conclusions (1=2, 2=1, so 1=1). The converse is also true, when the true premises are connected by fallacies.

Hell, if we examin {1} and {2} as symbols devoid of their mathmatical meaning, there isn't even a false premis here. For instance: {1} is a number (1=#) {2} is a number (2=#) therfore (1=2), and also (1=1)...

Well, just had a lovely young woman in the house for many hours playing civIII on my computer. Not sure how to take that... Anyway, found it interesting how she went about learning. Picked tiny map, 1 other civ, chiefton level, disabled all victory conditions but conquest and score, and proceeded to monkey around, with a bit of at times unsolicited and "shhsh'ed" advice from the 2 guys present. Don't know if this is a female thing, or just her.

By the way...Ladies! Oh ladies! Where are the ladies? Panag, your not a lady. are you?

"If numbers have no mathematical meaning"

Good example of a faulty premise.

hi ,

well , huh , .............;

nope , internal systems check revealed no concluse information on the gender , .....it does not compute , ......

the "shhsh'ed" advice , was that coming from the guys or the girl , ........

is she going to come back and play more of civ , ........

girls / woman either like civ3 , or dont like it , either they love comp-games , or they do not , it seems there is almost no middle way , ..........
