I missed you airfields
Im so happy that airfields are back! I missed them. Also happy that there are even more map features, Outpost and Radar Towers. The offical website says "new map features including airfields..." so that implies more. I can't wait for the expansion.

Firstly, "rock their chair"? Where the heck did that phrase come from?

Secondly, maybe we'll have a new unit special ability: ECM (radar jamming) so the unit would be invisible to radar. Probably not, but I can hope.

very happy this is back in. My guess is that they had to put it back in because of scenarios. What is a WWII scenario or modern war scenario without airbases?

yeah, actually my p4 is handling a 256x256 fine right now. Depends on how much land mass. Think of the whining avout the slowdown on a 512 x 512. Actually I would like to play on a map that large, against maybe 31 civs.

Well, you seemed to have slipped a cemetery and a prison in there and that made me wonder. Actually I'd rather have features that balance gameplay out and/or improve the interface of the game rather than a bunch of units/buildings/etc... The reason for that is because units/buildings can always be added (thanks to that wonderful little fellar named Gramphos ) via modding wheras adding new features can not.

However, now that Firaxis actually implements (are going to) into the game it suddenly becomes a great feature. Oh oh yes, I see how it is! And yes I do know that this was apart of SMAC

when they started with civ3 they never thought that they could get 16 civ's , now they are talking about 32 , so who knows , ....

512x512 , now , that would make the day , .......and i am sure that with the right people making it , there shall be no need for any slowdowns

Radar towers......a concept borrowed from the CtP series perhaps? In any case a good thing. I used to love the way you could build a couple of radar towers in CtP1/2 and electronically monitor your territory.

Any ideas about what the outposts are? I hope they are not as useless as colonies are. The other thing is will colonies be fixed so we can use them more?

Given the way that air units operate in Civ3 it's hard to imagine air refueling. I like that idea just don't know how it would work in Civ3.

I declare I will not buy Civ3:Play the World but instead will download it from somewhere. I am angry because things like airfiled, stack movement, and multiplay, etc should have been included in the game at the very beginning. How dare they use the gamers as beta tester! How dare they release a game that is only half done, and charge us another $30 or so for the 2nd half of the game?
