The thing I would most like to see is an added Diplomacy option: "Stop attacking my allies!" If you have a mutual protection pact with a civ and another civ attacks, you can not force the "bad guys" to leave your allies alone.

The "draw buffer error - terminating program" crash needs fixing. I see this discussed to death elsewhere, but no fix %&$£$!

About one session in 3 I get this crash, usually just after running through all my cities to upgrade 200 units!

Two things regards this mate:

1, What do you mean, abilities/defence against air units.

2, If you are meaning the 'air defence' option, then that is an air unit strategy that i'm guessing wouldn't work for ships. Plus for air missions to be used it suggests that the unit has to be 'immobile' to force the unit to use air missions.

hi ,

well , a ship like the aegis should have a bouble defense from airunit's , it should be like an option to click , and we should see something animated like the "gatling" gun on the carrier spit fire to the fighter , ......or maybe some small missile's fly to the airunit , ......the start could be the one of the cruise missile , ....
so could inpact be , .....yeah , surface to air missile , ..... , ...could also work for the sam based in the city , ....

have a nice day

I think air missions work like bombardment. The attacking unit is not at risk of being damaged by the defending unit. Doubling the defense of a ship would not cause air units to take damage.

On another topic:
What happened to the threaten option in diplomacy (it was in Civ II... or was that CTP II)? This option should be brought back.
