A city naming technique
Maybe this is too late but I really like to place cities and naming them according to their geographic location. But this was frustrating to open the atlas everytime. Maybe implement an auto name inserter in the city naming box. Each areo of the Earth map will have a name assigned to it and the name will be proposed before puting the city. If there is no city on real map on the area the usual next on the list name should appear.

This would be good, I may try and use this in my game, I planned to years ago and gave a name location to each map square. It takes ages naming each square though, but you can name a region in every 10*10 blocks for example..
another way is to name places depending upon their actual physical geography.. IE St Louis would be a name if theres a big river,
Bristol if its an archipelago and by the sea.. etc This would work well for random maps

I'm thinking of using a random name generator which puts in vowels and creates realistic names, its worked before in my programs.
