But knowing so much you must be able to realize that not everyone is qualified to make decisions in every circumstance.

Do you advocate that every person should make a decision (other than the decision to wait until they know better) in every circumstance regardless of whether they are qualified to make it or not?

If one decides that eternity is a myth and not worth the research, I'd say they'd actually made their decision.
